We help Arizona families find verified senior care — assisted living, memory care, nursing homes, and more. Free, local, and no pressure.
Phoenix Senior Advisor is a free placement service for families navigating senior care decisions in the Phoenix metropolitan area and across Arizona. We're a local team — not a national call center — and we've helped hundreds of Arizona families find assisted living, memory care, in-home care, and nursing home placements that actually fit their situation.
We operate under the brand Access Senior Home Care, a licensed Arizona placement agency. We don't own or operate any care facilities. Our only job is to help your family find the right one.
We're paid a placement fee by senior care communities and home care agencies when a family we've worked with moves in. This is the standard model in the senior care placement industry — similar to how a real estate agent earns a commission paid by the seller.
What this means for you: you get personalized guidance, facility vetting, and ongoing support at zero cost. We're motivated to find the right fit because our relationships with communities depend on sending well-matched residents. A bad match helps nobody.
Tell us about your loved one's situation — health needs, budget, preferred location, and timeline. Takes about 15 minutes by phone. No forms required if you'd rather just talk.
We match your needs against our database of 3,500+ ADHS-licensed facilities across Phoenix and Arizona. We filter by care level, location, budget, and what we know about each community's quality.
We set up in-person tours at your top 2–3 options and give you a list of questions to ask. We can join the tour virtually or in person if helpful.
Once you choose a community, we help coordinate the move-in process and make sure the facility has the medical records and assessments they need.
After placement, we check in to make sure the transition is going well. If something isn't right, we can help you find an alternative.
Local Arizona team. 15-minute call. No fees — ever.
Call Free NowThe Phoenix metro area has one of the largest concentrations of senior care facilities in the country. Maricopa County alone has more than 1,600 ADHS-licensed assisted living and memory care facilities — ranging from small 6-bed group homes to large resort-style communities with 300+ units.
That range is part of what makes placement hard. A family searching on their own may tour 8–10 places without knowing what to look for, what questions matter, or how to compare pricing (most communities don't publish rates). We narrow that down to the 2–3 places most likely to be the right fit before you set foot anywhere.
We operate as a paid referral service in compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes and ADHS disclosure requirements. Under Arizona law, we're required to disclose that we have a financial relationship with the communities we refer to — which we do, up front, in every conversation.
We do not recommend facilities based on fee size. We recommend based on fit. Our reputation depends on families having good experiences after placement, not just at placement.
No. We share our recommendations and explain our reasoning, but you're free to choose any facility. We're also happy to give you an honest opinion on a community you've already found on your own.
We cover the entire Phoenix metropolitan area — Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Sun City, Sun City West, Ahwatukee, and surrounding communities. For other parts of Arizona, we can connect you with regional resources or refer you to trusted partners.
For urgent situations — hospital discharge with 24–48 hours' notice — we can typically identify options and schedule tours same-day. For families planning ahead, we can do a thorough search over several days or weeks. Tell us your timeline and we'll match it.
We can explain how ALTCS (Arizona's Medicaid waiver) and Veterans Aid & Attendance benefits work and which facilities accept them. For ALTCS applications, we recommend working with a licensed ALTCS specialist — we can refer you to one. See our Arizona Resources page for more detail.
